Big Mamou Rocks

… I actually found a real catfish poboy in New England! What are the odds?

In Springfield, MA (of all places) just off the interstate, there’s a great New Orleans style restaurant called Chef Wayne’s Big Mamou. Awesome food, and I must say that I’m now a bit homesick after listening to some cool New Orleans jazz/blues while eating my catfish poboy.

‘Yep, the secret’s out; apparently the guitarist/singer for Blabpipe is originally from the south, but now rocking out in the north.’

Anyway, the food at this place was so great – I felt the need to share.

Also, it’s funny that the auto-correct keeps trying to change the word ‘poboy‘. Wonder if that happens in the south? Lot’s more artwork inside the place, but I was only able to snap a few shots from outside. Next time.

Now back to some music:

Rock it!
