‘Everything ebb, the flow comes later; for it too was in need of motion.’

‘I know… it can boggle the mind, and tickle the fancy.’ was just under it.

That’s what was hand written on the wall in front of me. I read and I drifted and I thought about how things were all in motion, but not anymore. Not really.

I’m approaching the ‘hear no evil’ part, I think.

Ebb and flow (also called ebb and flood and flood drain) are two phases of the tide or any similar movement of water. The ebb is the outgoing phase, when the tide drains away from the shore; and the flow is the incoming phase when water rises again.

I dig phrases. Little jibs in stories that make no sense at first, then do. The occasional bromides of truth, mixed in with free thoughts are essential as well… because thinking freely is…
