Fangclub – Hesitations

NME have recently stated that “Fangclub are a fully formed thrash pop monster; melodic, frenzied and phenomenal. ….Fangclub are the Big Boys in the bomb bay.” Steven King (guitar and vocals) & Kevin Keane (bass) were school friends and spent their teens playing in bands in North Dublin. The pair met Dara Coleman (drums) at a house party show. The debut album was released in 2017 to glowing reviews with the band themselves calling it “A love letter to our favourite bands”.

The self-titled album was chock-full of raw yet melodic tracks that took their cue from the loud/quiet aesthetic of . It charted at no.5 and received a nomination for Choice Prize Album Of The Year. On the live circuit, Fangclub have supported , , , , , , , , ,  while also cutting their own teeth on headline tours & festivals. Darlia – Stars Are Aligned

Hailing from Blackpool, U.K., delinquents Natan Day (vocals, guitar) and Davey Williams (bass) formed Darlia while working as cleaners at the high school they had just attended. Day and Williams worked their way through drummers. However, once a record deal was on the horizon, the band drafted long time school friend Jack Bentham into the band.

Their first release, 2013’s Knock Knock EP, earned the trio praise across the board. The group issued their second EP, Candyman, at the beginning of 2014, with the lead track becoming Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record on his BBC Radio 1 show.

The trio headed out to tour the U.K. — with dates at all the major festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and T in the Park — while the singles “Dear Diary” and “Stars Are Aligned” also appeared that year. Darlia headed into the studio to record a mini album at the end of 2014, and the resulting Petals was released in February 2015.

After touring Australia, Germany, Japan, the band underwent another line up change – a new drummer, and a lead guitarist – Micko Larkin of Courtney Love, often described by Day as a “guitar wizard”. The band met Larkin to produce an EP, however he quickly joined the band. – Spotify bio

Fall From Sanity – Dawn

Fall From Sanity is a progressive rock band based out of Burlington, Vermont. The band is made up of Blair Shedd (Vocals), Matthew Sicard (Guitar), Anthony Girelli (Drums), and Sean Dollar (Bass). The group formed in late February of 2019 just before the first lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Although they were unable to rehearse or write as a group, they decided to experiment with a remote writing/recording process to create new songs while in quarantine. Each section was recorded separately in each of their home studios, and then consolidated and mixed/mastered by their drummer, Anthony Girelli (Girelli Melodies). The entire album (Fall From Sanity) was created using this style of remote song writing. – Spotify bio
